Our client, a leading equipment manufacturer, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be part of the Technical Support Department supporting the Field Service Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a high level of technical proficiency which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Field Service Technician 

Location: Sussex, WI 

Pay Range: $30=$40/hr. DOE 

 

What’s the Job?

  • Provide technical troubleshooting via field visits, phone, and email.
  • Conduct customer installations and commissioning of equipment.
  • Train customers on equipment face-to-face.
  • Handle warranty submissions and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal field service techs and the engineering department, as well as external customers and building contractors.

 

What’s Needed?

  • An Associate degree OR 4-8 years of related customer service experience in electronics/electrical controls, mechanical, hydraulic systems, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical concepts, especially AC/DC circuits, and low voltage systems.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to travel globally and obtain a passport.
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including MS Office, and the ability to operate various hand and power tools, electronic testing equipment, and read blueprints and schematics
