Role and Team

This position is responsible for loading and unload customer vehicles at multiple locations. Transporting vehicles to and from customer locations. At times will Tow multiple vehicles. Reports to the Lot Operations Manager or designated manager as part of the Transportation/Logistics team.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver vehicles throughout onsite lots
Transport vehicles within onsite lots
Prioritize safe driving and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana's Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver Qualification Policy. Consistent, and safe driving is crucial for this role.
Complete condition reports and complete paperwork related to the pick up and delivery of the vehicle
Communicate with customers to verify vehicle information and condition of vehicles
Maintain good flow of communication with all team members and practice good teamwork
Inspect the wrecker or rollback to ensure the vehicle maintains good maintenance and safe driving conditions

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
Must have a demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Must have the ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Must be able to pass a Drug test
Must hold a valid med Card, or Pass a Physical in order to obtain one.

The physical activity requirements of the position range from Light to Medium Physical Work.
Frequent – standing, watching, touching, listening, walking, talking
Potential – running, jumping, yelling or other rapid or forceful movement in emergency situations
Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable to definitions for Clerical, Administrative, Machine Operators (including inspection) positions.

Physical Working Conditions
