Job Description as follows

- Shift starts 3:30 PM - 2:30/3:30 AM(minimum 40, OT as needed to keep up with maintenance)

- There are 4 other mechanics (2 on day shift, 1 Overnight + Overnight Helper)

- Mechanic/ Service Tech will be required to change tires, adjust brakes, change oil, grease, maintain service schedule

- Trouble shoot electrical, air, and hydraulic issues

- Complete service calls within 150 radius work area when our trucks break down

- Troubleshoot motor/ performance codes

- Must be able to follow instructions, complete tasks in a timely fashion, maintain a clean workplace, and be able to self perform and manage workflow tasks that are handed down

Qualifications

-Experience with Cummins Insite, Eaton Service Ranger or other Diagnostic Software
- Automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge
-Supply your own tools/toolbox
- Experience with hand tools and vehicle maintenance
- Proficiency in handling transmissions, air brakes, alignment, hydraulics, and suspension
- Ability to work on HVAC systems
- Previous dealership experience is a plus
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and industrial machinery
- Basic computer skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting tasks
- Welding and fabrication experience would be beneficial
- Certification in relevant areas such as service technician training

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
