*What to Expect as a Radiology Tech with OrthoArizona:*

This role *does not* require you perform Fluoroscopy or be involved in surgery.

*Pay:* $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

*Schedule: *Four 10-hour shifts, no weekends, no major holidays, no on-call

*Location:* Deer Valley, AZ

*As a Radiology Technologist with OrthoArizona, you’ll get to:*
* Prepare patients for radiologic procedures
* Explain all procedures to patients being sure all of their questions are answered
* Protect patients from unnecessary exposure to radiation by utilizing shielding equipment.
* Take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety
* Document patient care services in chart
* Import outside imaging to office PACS
* Scan documents into EMR
* Maintains accurate QC logs and service records, maintain and monitor dosimetry badges, etc. as required by state and federal regulations
* Ensure equipment is in working order, maintain radiology supplies and reports any malfunctions.

*Your experience should include:*
* 1 – 2 years Radiology, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital.
* Completion of approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program
* Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
* Arizona State license Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE)
* Maintain CPR certification
