Position Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for executing radiologic and technical procedures. This role encompasses a variety of tasks in preparing patients across all age groups—neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric—for the technical aspects of imaging scans and treatments aimed at specific organs to provide diagnostic insights. The professional will operate imaging machinery to generate scans and will also offer support and training as necessary, while engaging in all facets of the role. Additionally, the technologist will assist the Lead and Department in the upkeep of equipment and the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements. This position serves as a liaison within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiologic procedures with precision and care.
  • Prepare patients effectively for imaging processes.
  • Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Support and train colleagues in radiologic practices.
  • Assist in the maintenance and quality assurance of imaging equipment.

Qualifications:

Education:
Equivalent experience may be considered in place of the required degree or diploma.
Completion of an accredited Radiology technology program is preferred.
OR Associate's degree or higher.

Certifications & Licenses:
ARRT - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist
RHF - Radiology Fluoroscopy
BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

Preferred Experience:
At least 12 months of experience in a hospital environment.

Work Schedule:

Shift: Nights
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Days: Friday, Monday, Thursday
Weekend Requirements: Saturday, Sunday

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive pay range is $52.81 to $68.87 per hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, licensure, and departmental needs. Eligible positions come with a comprehensive benefits package.
