Job Description

Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians.

This is a Full-Time (80 hours per pay period) position, working 8 hour varied day shifts with call requirements and located at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla.

Join a winning team supporting Scripps Health as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within our Nuclear Medicine department at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. From performing bone scans to gallbladder studies, you will experience a wide variety of both inpatient and outpatient cases. The ideal candidate enjoys working collaboratively with their team, is focused on radiation safety, and provides excellent patient care.

The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:

  • Internal candidates

  • Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

  • Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

  • Must remain in original department/specialty

  • Must remain in original Job Title

  • Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required Qualifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association

  • CNMT (CA Certified Nuclear Med Tech)

  • Venipuncture

  • Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology

  • Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Imaging leadership experience

  • 1-2 years' experience
