As a Benefit Technology Assistant, you will be an integral part of the team, ensuring the administration platform is built and maintained to ensure optimal client satisfaction and ease of use. 

 

You will assist with Client Builds/Renewals on benefit technology platforms (EASE & ENav).

 

About Employee Navigator and EASE:

Employee Navigator (ENav) and EASE are HR technology platforms that can integrate with insurance carriers, payroll companies & insurance brokers. This platform is designed to make it easier for our customers to manage the complexity of employee benefits & HR including benefits administration, onboarding & much more.


  • Managing info for all builds/renewals which include
    • Any document needed or lacking
    • Filing incoming documents
    • Updating Monday.com
  • Audit enrollments
    • At least twice a year—right before Open Enrollment and after billing
    • Review discrepancies and correspond with carrier if needed
  • Create procedure instructions for clients on various tasks
  • Update Plan Booklet inserts as needed regarding ENav enrollment procedures for employees
  • Update and/or upload all plan docs on ENav as needed
  • Run monthly new hires/term reports for clients as needed
  • Prepare monthly specialty reports per clients’ request – (i.e., payroll deductions, dependent aging out listing, etc., and other reports as requested)
  • Assists with builds on ENav or other Benefit Platform in use

  • Be a motivated problem solver who can accurately document and communicate issues.
  • Demonstrate proficiency using Microsoft Office products, including Excel
  • High level of productivity, reliability, responsibility, attendance, dependability, organization, and accuracy/thoroughness
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for supporting web-based applications
  • Must possess a passion for teamwork, client service and reaching business results through problem-solving
  • Reliable transportation required for travel within the San Antonio, TX area

Helpful but not required:

  • Experience with benefits administration, insurance, or payroll
