We have immediate employment opportunities for *Diesel Mechanic Helpers* at our Fleet Maintenance Facility in Albany, NY. The successful Diesel Mechanic Helper will be responsible for assisting the Diesel Mechanic with the maintenance and repair of our fleet of motor coaches in a shop setting.

*The preferred candidate is a person who takes initiative and manages their time safely and effectively, and who has: *
* 6 months of experience as a mechanic in the diesel or automotive industry.
* Diagnostic skills and understanding of mechanical systems.
* Availability for the 1st shift for initial training and 2nd shift thereafter. Availability must include including holidays and weekends. 1st shift -7am-4:30pm, 2nd shift- 4pm-12am.
* Your own basic tools.
* The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
* A Valid NYS driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
* A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Pay: From $20.71 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
