Job Posting Summary $2,500 Sign-On Bonus Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Neuro Progressive Care Team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a Full time days opportunity with 12-hour shifts. RNs on this unit typically see a 1:4 nurse/patient and provide care for patients who may need advanced care due to various conditions such as Parkinson's, seizures, Guillain-Barre, strokes, brain tumors, etc. Candidates with varied backgrounds including rehab/nursing home, Med/Surg, and PCU are encouraged to apply. As a Registered Nurse you will be Responsible for: * Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses * Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement * Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care * Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital * Serve as patient advocate * Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities Full/Part Time Full-Time Shift Details Days Education Required Associate's Degree - Nursing Education Preferred Bachelor's Degree - Nursing Experience * Less than 1 year Medical Surgical Nursing Experience * Telemetry Experience * Hospital Experience Licenses and Certifications * Basic Life Support (BLS) Required * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred * Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred * Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) Preferred * Licensed Registered Nurse Required Location Overview For more than 20 years, health care consumers have named Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville the "most preferred healthcare provider" in the region.
