Job Posting Summary $3,750 sign-on bonus Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Neuroscience IMC / PCU Team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time night shift opportunity. RNs on this unit typically see a 1:3 or 1:4 nurse to patient ratio and provide care to patients with neurologic conditions that may include seizures, strokes, craniotomies, neuromuscular emergecies, etc. We provide training for those who may be new to neuro and want to expand their skills in this area, and RNs with experience in multiple units are encouraged to apply. As a Registered Nurse you will be Responsible for: * Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses * Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement * Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care * Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital * Serve as patient advocate * Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities Full/Part Time Full-Time Shift Details Nights Education Required Associate's Degree - Nursing Education Preferred Bachelor's Degree - Nursing Experience * Less than 1 year Medical Surgical Nursing Experience * Hospital Experience Licenses and Certifications * Basic Life Support (BLS) Required * Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) Preferred * Licensed Registered Nurse Required Location Overview For more than 20 years, health care consumers have named Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville the "most preferred healthcare provider" in the region.
