Position Summary Position Summary - Nights 7 PM - 7AM - THREE SHIFTS EACH WEEK The nurse resident administers patient care in an area in a hospital setting where an acute care patientreceives active treatment for an injury, episode of illness, a medical condition, or post intervention with assessment. The 11LP Digestive Health Unit is a 30-bed unit dedicated to caring for patients before and after their procedure at the Digestive Health Institute. Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute is an international destination for care, offering comprehensive and coordinated services to evaluate, diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions affecting the digestive tract and gastrointestinal organs. The institute has distinguished itself worldwide in offering many diagnostic and treatment options, including artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities that improve diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes. This is one small step in our journey towards establishing a solid organ transplant program. The newly dedicated unit will enable us to provide specialized training to a core team of nurses and staff to meet the specific needs of patients who travel 500 miles to see us and are admitted with complex digestive health problems and be familiar with cutting-edge clinical research protocols.
