What’s involved in this role: 

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor in Little Chute, WI.

  • Oversee and directly supervise the daily operations of warehouse activities including shipping & receiving, warehouse transfers, and distribution.
  • Oversee and directly supervise the daily operations of re-pack facility and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with transportation, customer service and other employees to assure timely work flow resulting in positive customer experience.
  • Ensure staffing is appropriate in each area for optimal and efficient receipt, shipment, and transfer of products.
  • Certify and train forklift drivers in accordance with OSHA requirements.
  • Oversee/track receipts of finished goods into inventory for production
  • Coordinate daily shuttles of finished goods and raw/pack materials to and from third party warehouses.
  • Coordinate forklift maintenance program, track inspections, and manage emergency repair contract and emergency calls.
  • Approve schedule and time cards. Provide back up for Warehouse Manager
  • Operate and shuttle tractor/trailers within the yard as needed.

 

What you need to join our team:  

  • Experience with SAP required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in a distribution or shipping & receiving environment required.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Forklift certified required.
  • Current Class A CDL with airbrake/tanker endorsement preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.  

Where you’ll be working: 

Our Little Chute, WI, plant is home to about 95 employees. This facility is a top manufacturer of IQF sticks that are supplied to the appetizer industry. Next to the plant is our well-known Simon’s Specialty Cheese store, which has about 20 employees. Simon’s is a Wisconsin-themed store, with everything from meats and cheese to clothing and craft spirits.
