This can include modifying and customizing embedded OS drivers and applications and creating validation scripts for features developed. As a Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and validating GPU firmware which controls and monitors the low-level hardware.Intel Corporation's state of the art facilities gives you the opportunity to learn a variety of technical and operational skills to develop, operate, maintain, and repair the world’s most advanced facility equipment, in a demanding and challenging operations environment. Life at Intel link:  As a Firmware Development Engineer , your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Develops embedded software/firmware within environments that have constrained timing and memory resources, designs, and implements reusable code, performs design and code reviews, as well as tests and validates product implementations. Job may require experience in system architecture and modeling, operating systems, device architecture, system integration, algorithm modeling, digital signal processing, and/or hardware design.Works with a variety of storage interface standards.Performs system-level design modeling, and systems integration, additionally performing algorithm modeling, benchmarking implementation, and/or digital signal processing.Behavioral traits that we are looking for: Ability to work with a distributed team.Ability to work independentlyExcellent communication skills written and verbalIntel invests in our people and offers a complete and competitive package of benefits employees and their families through every stage of life. See   for more details. Qualifications:You must possess the minimum education requirements noted below and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
