We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tech Risk Analyst to join our Technology Risk Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and maintaining the implementation of our technology risk framework that manages governance, risk and compliance objectives.

This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure that our technology-related risks are managed effectively and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

This person is responsible for analyzing and managing risk management issues. Identifies, measures, and makes decisions on operational and enterprise risks. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. 

Responsibilities 

  • Maintains input and data quality of risk management systems. 
  • Recommends options to control and reduce risks. 
  • Documents and communications risks. 
  • Identifies key risks and mitigating factors of potential investments. 
  • Develops systems and processes to monitor the validity of risk modeling outputs. 
  • Assist and support in driving and maintaining the implementation and maintenance of framework that manages governance, risk and compliance objective
  • Manage risk management, compliance and security governance activities
  • Effectively partner and collaborate with other BT resources, as well as with leaders at all levels of the company
  • Translate compliance and technical requirements into relevant and understandable terms
  • Assist and support in driving and maintaining the implementation and maintenance of framework that manages governance, risk and compliance objectives
  • Manage risk management, compliance and security governance activities
  • Translate compliance and technical requirements into relevant and understandable terms

Minimum Qualifications 

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Risk, or Audit 
  • 2+ years of experience in Technology, Risk, or Audit 
  • In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Technology, Risk, or Audit 

Preferred Qualifications 

If we had our say, we’d also look for: 

  • Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and security technologies. Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think critically and make informed decisions based on data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in conducting risk assessments and preparing reports.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $75,500.00 to $127,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
