We are currently seeking several RNs with Ambulatory Surgery Center experience to work in a well-established and prestigious Ophthalmology Practice in New York, NY
Pay Rate Commensurate with experience - $40.00 - $49/hour.

LOW STRESS/ STABLE HOURS
We are currently seeking several RNs with experience to work in a well-established and prestigious Ambulatory Surgery Center in New York, NY.
Temp to Perm - 94% convert to full time after 480 hours.
We are looking for a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism and a strong desire to provide quality patient care.
The successful candidate will work with state of the art Surgical treatment in the safest, most efficient and caring manner.
You will provide cross coverage in Pre-surgical admission/assessment; PACU /OR coverage and patient discharge.
Must be available to work 8 hour shifts between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Some rotational Saturdays required.
*\*Essential Responsibilities: \**
* Admitting patients to the Center
* Assisting Physicians during procedures
* Following patients in recovery to discharge
* Overseeing patient and staff flow and monitoring that policies and procedures are followed
* Additional duties include maintaining the emergency cart, ordering and inventorying medication, giving pre-procedure instruction and participating in Quality Management projects.
*\*\\\*Qualified candidates will possess the following: \**
Previous RN experience preferred, preferably in an ASC or Acute Care setting
Current New York state RN license
BLS Certification, ACLS required
Must be a team-player with excellent multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
Compassion for patient needs and a high degree of professionalism
You must have excellent communication skills, be extremely organized, detail oriented and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Post and Pre-Op experience preferred.
Knowledge of JCAHO guidelines and policy a plus.
