Program Coordinator II (AH40/), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 06. Salary range: $45,530.00 (minimum) - $64,885.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university. The position may potentially be structured as hybrid or fully remote. Special note for any applicant who resides outside of South Carolina: If you are selected for a role at Coastal Carolina University and do not move to South Carolina, your employment may be through Kelly Services.

Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Conducts prompt, equitable and impartial administrative investigations into complaints including identifying and interviewing parties, gathering and assessing information relevant to the investigation, applying relevant policies, and develop analysis in individual cases. Must maintain high level of confidentiality and develop a comprehensive written report of the investigation of complaints.

Provides support to the Office of Protected Rights and Title IX by investigating and resolving discrimination and/or harassment complaints involving all protected classes and Title IX.

Manages special projects for the Office of Protected Rights and Title IX and/or University Compliance.

Provides compliance training, educational programming, and outreach regarding protected rights to campus community through the development of effective engagement strategies with faculty, staff, and students.

Qualifications

Required: A bachelor's degree and experience investigating allegations of misconduct.

Preferred: Master's degree or Juris Doctor; experience investigating allegations of discrimination, violations of policy or code(s) of conduct; experience working in higher education or working in Title IX in the K-12 environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies and procedures relevant to federally protected rights. Ability to exercise judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentiality. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively.
