A great UHY client is seeking a *International Tax Associate *to join their team. The ideal candidate will have public accounting experience (strongly preferred), hold a CPA (preferred), 4 to 6+ years of International tax compliance experience, experience with preparation of 5471, 5472 and 1120F, experience with Passive Foreign Income company (PFIC) calculations, and experience with FATCA compliance.

The *International Tax Associate* is a hybrid position that will be in the office for the first 1 to 3 weeks to get trained, then they can transition to a hybrid or remote schedule. This is a client direct hire position.

*International Tax Associate Responsibilities:*
* *Tax Compliance:* Prepare and review international tax returns and ensure timely filing in accordance with local regulations and global standards.
* *Regulatory Reporting:* Monitor changes in international tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company's operations.
* *Cross-Border Transactions:* Oversee tax compliance for cross-border transactions, including transfer pricing and intercompany agreements.
* *Documentation and Records:* Maintain accurate and comprehensive records for tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.
* *Audit Support:* Assist in the preparation and response to tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
* *Strategy and Planning:* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement international tax strategies that align with the company’s global tax strategy and business objectives.
* *Training and Development:* Provide guidance and training to internal teams on international tax compliance issues and best practices.
* *Technology and Systems:* Utilize tax software and systems to streamline compliance processes and enhance data accuracy.

*International Tax Senior* *Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent required
* CPA preferred
* Public accounting strongly preferred
* 4 to 6+ year of International tax compliance experience
* Experience with Preparation of 5471, 5472 and 1120F
* Experience with Passive Foreign Income company (PFIC) calculations
* Experience with FATCA compliance

Pay: $68.00 per hour
