Position Summary:
Performs general, routine maintenance and servicing operations throughout the hospital.
Reports to: Supervisor
FLSA: Non-exempt

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Installs, repairs, and maintains a wide range of plant and hospital equipment, machinery, and systems.DragEditDeleteAssists journeymen and other specialty mechanics in installing, repairing, and maintaining specialized equipment and systems.DragEditDeleteOperates plant backup systems as required.DragEditDeleteSpecifies and orders parts and supplies as needed to perform job responsibilities. Maintains and stocks appropriate inventories.DragEditDeletePerforms preventative maintenance as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent
Associates degree (Preferred)
*Years of relevant experience may be substituted for required education.DragEditDeleteRequired Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.DragEditDeleteRequired Skills
