Opportunity Specifics:
  • Contract Type: Speech Language Pathologist
  • Setting: Long Term Acute Care
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 13-Week Contracting with possible extension opportunities
  • Shift Days: Shifts catered to your availability Shifts weekly any days (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday available)
  • Shift hours: 7 am - 7 pm; shifts may vary if needed or set shifts if preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Position responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide direct patient care and conduct speech-language therapy sessions.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment options and strategies for communication improvement.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Oklahoma-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Required Skills: critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in speech-language pathology, particularly in clinical or healthcare settings, is required.
  • When not providing direct therapy, you will provide support and assist the team.
  • BLS required
  • Basic computer skills
