Our client is looking for a promising, competent Project Manager that enjoys working on Special Projects. This candidate will be overseeing multiple complex tenant improvement projects in the $5M-$10M, so they must have experience completing multiple projects as the Project Lead.

My client is a National General Contractor with over 10 offices in 6 states and 600+ employees nationwide. After being in business for 100+ years they've been able to penetrate every market sector in the industry (municipal, federal, multifamily, commercial, civil, etc).

Description

  • Overseeing and directing projects from start to finish
  • Responsible for forecasting, tracking/reporting project costs/revenue and adherence to project estimates
  • Responsible for problem resolution involving labor disputes, staffing, construction materials, construction equipment and contracts/subcontracts administration
  • Assist with pre-qualification process for bidders, develop and solicit responses to RFP's/RFQ's, assist the owner in selecting the appropriate project delivery method
  • Travel once a week to project sites within the Denver Metro Area
  • Coordinates with construction Safety Manager to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with established safety goals
  • Develop strong relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Assistant Project Managers
  • Maintain appropriate documentation through project such as RFI logs and change orders

Profile

The Project Manager - Construction will:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction management experience
  • Must have multiple projects completed as a Project Manager
  • Have experience in commercial tenant improvements $10M or less (Municipal, Federal, Life Sciences preferred)
  • Working knowledge of construction technology and details
  • Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented
