Location

We are looking to fill Full-Time positions for both our Homecare/school division as well as our new 2nd location in a PPEC facility. Based on your experience and availability will determine the setting/rates.

If you are passionate about the future and growth of the next generation, then we want to speak with you This position will be at 1-location working with complex children at a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care facility.

What You'll Be Working On

Work with children/youth on the Autism Spectrum as well as a variety of other complex diagnoses.

Educate patients and family members, keep detailed records relating to patient conditions

Assess patients regularly, monitor progress toward treatment goals.

Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for corrective action and process improvement

Promote positive work environment, collaborate with team members on patient care

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team

Weekly Occupational Therapist supervision and communication.

Qualifications

Associates Degree as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Licensed or ability to be licensed in the state of Florida

Pediatric Experience required

3 years of experience preferred, but passionate new graduates encouraged to apply

Experience working in a PPEC setting a plus

Ability to independently treat patients by developing and following an established therapy plan of care

Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for building relationships with patients and being able to work within a collaborative team that will include, OT, ABA, teachers, and nursing.

Self-starter with a strong level of accountability and creativity.
