Job Description:

Engineering oversight of the production facility.
Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects.
Work with Corporate Safety, Quality, and Industrial teams to encourage open communication, teamwork, and culture at the production facility.
Allocate resources effectively when assigning projects based on skills and knowledge of the team.
Assist with implementation of best practices, process, and tools to improve efficiency.
Investigate and adopt new ideas to improve safety, team performance and product quality.

Job Requirements:

3-5 yrs experience required
4-year technical degree, in an electrical, electronics or mechanically oriented curriculum
Must enjoy hands on product exposure
Experience with machining, lathes, and tooling is preferred
Electrical skills and experience not necessary, but beneficial
AutoCAD or similar software a must
Must have a continuous improvement mentality
Multi-tasking, problem solving and strong communication skills a must
Strong desire to please the customer with perfect product quality and to maintain a safe work environment

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work standing for extended periods of time
Required to use ladder, forklift or other means to acquire parts for product assembly
Able to use power & hand tools, as well as electrical testing and measuring equipment
Ability to lift 35 to 50 pounds independently
