Job description

Summary:

Duties include delivering and picking up skid tanks as needed. Repairing them on site may be required when needed. Responsibility includes the pick up and delivery of skid tanks with the use of ramp truck.

Essential Duties:

Operates assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner
Deliver skid tanks able to use ramp truck safely and efficiently.
Works safely adhering to all company policy and practices
Provides a communication link between customers and staff
Reads and interprets maps and driving directions to plan the most efficient route service for customers, and reads and interprets road signs in English
Keeps the assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outside
Reports immediately any accident, fuel spill or medical emergencies to your supervisor

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to drive multiple vehicles safely and appropriately, including ability to read and interpret road signs in English;
Ability to be detail oriented and be able to prioritize;
Ability to read, understand, and adhere to the rules and regulations of the Federal Department of Transportation;
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to establish effective professional relationships with customers, co-workers, and upper-level staff and employees;
Ability to prepare concise and accurate records and reports; extensive knowledge of the operations and features of assigned vehicle(s);
Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs; ability to interpret policies and procedures, maps, and route directions. Overtime sometimes required.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Experience and Training:

High school or G.E.D. preferred; must be a minimum of 21 years of age and possess and maintain a safe driving record; must have a clean driver’s License, Hazmat and Air breaks, Medical Card and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
