PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound inventory, and truck inventory.   The Warehouse Manager will also oversee all warehouse staff, distributing responsibilities and providing direction and inspiration for their direct reports.  The Warehouse Manager will also develop and implement short- and long-term plans in accordance with Ace objectives and strategic plans and is responsible for the warehouse’s success.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

Responsible for the overall operation of the inbound and outbound functions to include inventory control.  The Warehouse Manager will assist the Operations Manager in the warehouse’s strategic direction and communicate initiatives to subordinates in an effective manner to achieve the expected levels of execution.

• Demonstrate and enforce an environment of safety, good working relationships, quality and productivity.

• Demonstrates knowledge of warehouse operations to include inbound and outbound activities, inventory, data, vendor management and profiling.

• Develop and implement short and long term goals and objectives for all departemnts in accordance with Ace objectives and strategic plans.

• Ensure all best practice procedures are followed in all areas of responsibility.

• Ensure accurate inventory management counts via detailed cycle counting and auditing procedures.

• Demonstrates the ability to create a positive employee relations environment which results in high performing teams.

What you need to succeed:

• Be a safety champion by promoting a safe and productive workplace through your own actions, including the proper use of PPE, safe operation of powered equipment and safe lifting techniques as determined by the role.

• Minimum 5 years related experience preferably in a home services warehouse

• Demonstrated knowledge of productivity measurement tools

• Preferred experience with HVAC materials

• Previous experience with ServiceTitan is a plus
