About Us: Overview: Brightview Senior Living is dedicated to the career growth of our associates.  Out of this dedication, a very important role was born  The Associate Executive Director at Brightview Senior Living will embark on a journey to further hone relationship building and leadership skills as well as business acumen as they advance through our AED program in order to run a Brightview community of their own one day  It is imperative that the AED embrace the vision, the mission and the vibrancy of the organization as they will help lead a team in creating and maintaining a vibrant and engaging living environment for Brightview residents… and make Brightview a great place to work for its Associates    Responsibilities: This is a very immersive training experience and requires the AED to be able to travel within Brightview Senior Living’s New England region which includes one community in Rhode Island, one community south of Boston and multiple communities north of Boston.  Candidates are required to reside within this geography as well.   In this role, you will work in an entrepreneurial environment.  You will be empowered to assist with leading your community with creativity and independence and you will help the Executive Director oversee day to day business operations to ensure exceptional quality and service, sustained resident satisfaction and associate engagement, operational efficiency, and strong financial results.   As the Associate Executive Director, you’ll be involved in every facet of the operation – Hospitality, Health Services, Dining, Programming, Sales, Maintenance, and the Business Office.  You’ll have the opportunity to truly make your mark while making a difference in the lives of both residents and associates.  We will leverage your existing leadership, management, and customer service skills, and in turn we will give you the experience and information you’ll need to be successful in the future as an Executive Director for Brightview in this region.  As your training progresses, you will likely finding yourself filling in for Directors on an interim basis, including an ED role Supervisory responsibilities will be determined per community but generally consist of the direct oversight of three to five department heads, assisting the Executive Director with the direction of the remaining Department Heads and all other associates as indirect reports.  You'll carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Brightview's policies and procedures and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training associates; planning, assigning and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining associates and addressing complaints and resolving problems. ​   Salary Range: USD $100,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Hr. Compensation Disclosure: The salary range mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor does it include the value of our benefit program. Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges. Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent experience.One to three years of management experience in a similar environment.Proficient in MS Office products, internet and industry specific software programs for marketing, payroll and accounts payable/receivable.Meet state licensing requirements (where applicable).Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.Problem analysis and resolution at both strategic and functional levels.Strong written and verbal communication skills.    Why work at Brightview?: Discover the Brightview Senior Living Difference 1.
