Job Title: Cook 

Location: San Jose, CA

Pay Range: $24-$27.00/hr DOE
Schedule: Fri to Tue: 6AM-2:30PM

 

What’s the Job?

  1. Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for different meal periods including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
  2. Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure high-quality food service and compliance with federal, state, and corporate standards.
  3. Operate kitchen equipment to prepare food items, including measuring, mixing, washing, peeling, cutting, and shredding ingredients.
  4. Provide excellent customer service at all times, ensuring the highest quality of service.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment, complying with safety and HACCP policies.

What’s Needed?

  1. High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  2. 3 to 4 years of related work experience.
  3. Ability to follow recipes and instructions unsupervised.
  4. Intermediate to advanced knife skills and extensive knowledge of food preparation.
  5. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
