Job Title: Packaging/Production Supervisor
Location: St. Peters, MO
Pay Rate: $25-$28
Qualifications
- Previous experience in supervisory or leadership role a plus.
- Knowledge of lot control products and GMPs is a plus.
- Ability to lead a team to achieve goals set by the business.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Skill in using a personal computer and working with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to coach and train employees as needed.
- Ability to stand or walk for entire 8-hour shift.
Key Responsibilities - Training provided.
- As a Packaging/Production Supervisor, you will be part of the team supervising and coordinating the day-to-day operations of 25-40 employees.
- Ability to read and understand Bill of Materials, Manufacturing Instructions, and SOPs.
- Trains employees on the proper use of equipment (labels, tape machines, shrink bundling equipment and motorized conveyors) requiring starting/stopping equipment and clearing jams.
- Assist team in training employees to perform manual operations of folding packings materials, case packing, palletizing finished cases and moving pallets.
- Support the facility’s 5S initiative in training employees to maintain work areas in a neat and organized fashion corresponding with good manufacturing practices and report/corrects and unsafe conditions within the department control.
- Ensure all company safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe working environment, including PPE (i.e. safety glasses, steel toe shoes etc.)
- Manage the workforce to achieve productive goals and performance standards.
- Assign work to employees, track progress and provide constructive feedback throughout projects.
- Works with leadership and Manpower Management Staff to ensure all employees are trained to follow current work instructions and adheres to Quality Control Plan and related SOPs.
- Complete daily production & supervisor reports back to leadership.
