Performs complex maintenance and preventive maintenance duties in support of operations.

Major Position Responsibilities

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance, and extensive equipment repairs on INDUSTRIAL Machinery such as Large Hydraulic Presses, Induction heaters & conveyors independently as prescribed by written and verbal instructions.
  • Supports advanced mechanic, electricians and other maintenance staff in performing equipment repairs.
  • Provides guidance to Maintenance 1 and 2 employees.
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment failures, recommends solutions and conducts repairs.
  • Documents maintenance activities as required and records time management in data base.
  • Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations & notifies management of equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
  • Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
  • Other general duties as directed.


Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial manufacturing setting
  • Proficient with electrical/control circuits from 480V AC to 24V DC
  • Knowledge with PLC controls & logic
  • Ability to read drawings, schematics and work instructions.
  • Advanced Knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic control circuits.
  • Related Technical or engineering degree preferred.
