Controls Engineer

As a Controls Engineer at our flagship plant location, you'll play a pivotal role in implementing cutting-edge controls and automation projects and maintaining and improving processing and packaging systems.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the development, installation, and commissioning of plant controls and automation systems.
• support for controls and automation systems, ensuring seamless operation.
• Work on the team to design and specify plant control system architecture, setting high standards for efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with third-party controls engineering partners to achieve project goals.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in controls and automation engineering within relevant industries - food-beverage-dairy-pharma aor consumer goods. .
• Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC programming and advanced HMI development, preferably with Wonderware.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with process control panel design and specification.
• Familiarity with high sanitary standards in food and beverage industries, including CIP cleaning and sterilization.
• Preferred experience with Wonderware MES, .NET programming, SQL databases, and Ethernet/IP communication.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.

Employment Qualifications:

• Food, Dairy, Beverage, Pharma,Consumer goods liquid filling packaging industry experience.
• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline but will consider experience in Lieu of a degree .
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
