Our client, a leading environmental services company, is seeking a Waste Coordinator to join their team. As a Waste Coordinator, you will be part of the Technical department supporting waste management operations in Sacramento, California. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a safety-oriented mindset that aligns with our client's values.

Job Title: Waste Coordinator

Location: Sacramento, California

Pay Range: $35.00 to $45.00 hourly

What's the Job?

  • Profiling waste based on internal and external requests
  • Segregation, labeling, and manifesting of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials
  • Preparing and printing waste manifests and labels within the WasteLinq System
  • Scheduling waste services requests with clients and local operations
  • Testing of unknown materials adhering to all regulations and company guidelines

What's Needed?

  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or equivalent science discipline
  • Familiarity with 49CFR 171 and 40 CFR 265 requirements
  • High level of knowledge with OSHA, DOT, and RCRA regulations pertaining to hazardous waste handling and transportation
  • Willingness to travel between 25-50% of the time inclusive of overnight stays
