What will you be doing?

• Become proficient in measuring parts using calipers, protractors, tape measure, and other gauges to determine key product dimensions.
• Become proficient identifying job specific paperwork and have an understanding of how it relates to the process.
• Become proficient in tracking & recording accurate information on activity logs, key dimension sheets, etc.
• Perform a variety of housekeeping tasks, keeping the immediate work area safe, organized, and free of debris.
• Begin to understand basic drawings and recognize common parts.
• Assist Fabricator 1 & Fabricator 1 – Advanced in various work centers while gaining knowledge of the area.
• Become proficient at being able to access and use VSW’s from M-Files via company provided electronic tablets.
• Acquire an understanding of physical inspection criteria and notify lead or supervisor if defects are observed.
• Understand and execute basic operations, set ups and techniques as related to shop order guidelines & VSW documentation.
• Consistently produce quality parts within required tolerances and goal times.
• Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

What do you bring?

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both written and verbally.
• Even tempered, friendly disposition and a positive can-do attitude.
• Good mathematical skills and ability to read tape measure
• Fabrication experience a plus
