Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the supervision of the Transportation Manager, the Paratransit Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of PACE participants. Including transport of paratransit (ambulatory and wheelchair-bound) participants, durable medical equipment, pharmacy and any other transportation as deemed necessary. Responsible for overall cleanliness and safety of the vehicle assigned on a daily basis. Responsible for communicating any safety issue(s) to the Transportation Manager.
What qualifications you will need:
- Required Education:High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Required License/Certification: NC Driver’s License, BLS, First Aid
- Preferred License: One year experience working with and/or transporting the frail and elderly
- Required Experience: Class B CDL with P Endorsement.
- Preferred Experience: Bus driver for schools or at-risk populations.
