Our client, a leading player in the production industry, is seeking a 3rd Shift Packaging Lead to join their team. As a Packaging Lead Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Packaging Team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 3rd Shift Packaging Lead

Location: Wanamingo, MN

Pay Range: USD $26.25 / Hourly

What's the Job?

  • Assist the Team Supervisor and Sr. Lead Operator in achieving scheduled packaging volumes and goals.
  • Ensure adherence to plant SOPs, GMPs, and safety requirements while maintaining high product quality.
  • Perform changeover and cleaning procedures on all packaging equipment.
  • Complete periodic checks of associated operator paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
  • Lead by example and assist in training new operators on the packaging line.

What's Needed?

  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment failures and resolve issues effectively.
  • Knowledge of packaging line flow and ability to identify deficiencies during operations.
  • Certification to operate a forklift.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with supervisors and team members.
  • Commitment to adhering to GMPs and SOPs at all times.
  • Bkg/DG
  • HS Diploma/GED
