Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Construction Intern to join our team in Jamesville, NY for the summer of 2025. As a Construction Intern you will immerse yourself in business processes. This position will have the opportunity to tackle new challenges and projects and gain real-world working experience. You will have lots to talk about when you return to school in the fall

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO
- Put your education into action in the field to support and participate in assigned project work.
- Support operations in achieving production goals while partnering with experienced managers, and production employees in different departments.
- Complete summer projects to gain an understanding of the operations for heavy highway construction.
- Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Current sophomores, juniors and seniors working toward a degree in Construction Management.
- Commitment and engagement through a high level of work ethic and utilization of abilities for the best of the company
- Demonstrated openness to change, flexibility, and adaptability
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
