The Construction Administration Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support for Construction Management and Field Supervisors at the Jamesville, NY location. The role includes coordinating with construction crews, tracking equipment utilization, processing vendor invoices, completing payroll & timesheets, as well as cross training for various duties within the Construction Administration Office. It also involves coordinating with shop mechanics for maintenance and parts orders, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and identifying and correcting unsafe conditions.

What we're looking for

  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of JDE business system is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 yr. degree preferred
  • Knowledge of NYS construction prevailing wage system and NYS DOL construction criteria
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and flexibility to adapt to changing business situations
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels.
