Job Description:

· Installs, maintains, repairs, overhauls, troubleshoots, modifies, constructs and tests various types of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and related devices on board Naval Vessels · Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles to put equipment in operational condition and solve moderately complex problems. · Troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment. · Modifies circuitry to improve performance. · Makes recommendations for improvements or modifications to correct problems. · May provide operation and maintenance instruction to customer personnel. · Performs preventative maintenance. · Participates in special projects, as required. #hireshipyardcareersgdit

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $19.08 - $24.66. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
