Treasury Consultant

Jefferson Wells is looking to hire an experienced Treasury Consultant in Denver, CO. This is a full-time, 6 +-month contract role, hybrid position with 3 days in the office with at least 7 years’ experience in Treasury. This role entails overseeing treasury payment processing, supervising bank accounts, monitoring cash positioning, monitoring receipts and payments across internal and external systems, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for short-term and medium-term cash forecasting; coordinate with teams to identify and mitigate forecasting variances
  • Support visibility into cash balances, monitor cash positioning, and optimize cash yields within risk parameters
  • Maintain strong communications with banks and other financial service providers
  • Monitor bank fees, counterparty exposure, bank inquiries, and other related matters
  • Analyze and mitigate global currency exposures by working closely with finance, accounting, and business personnel throughout the company
  • Provide analytical support for evaluating initiatives which include capital allocation, credit facility financing, seed capital and hedge programs
  • Support treasury policies, procedures, and controls
  • Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Assist with ad-hoc analysis and preparation of any necessary reporting

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent related fields
  • 7 plus years of experience in a Treasury role.
  • Knowledge of SAP, S4Hana and Excel.
  • CPA, CMA certification and/or advanced degree preferred, not required
  • Analytical skills – ability to collect information and thoroughly analyze; observe, research and interpret to develop ideas and solutions.  Great Effective communication, leadership and organizational skills.
