Job Summary and Qualifications

Our diagnostic imaging team are a committed, caring group of professionals, and we are currently seeking a Lead Radiology Technologist on a full-time basis. As Lead Radiology Technologist, you will perform routine diagnostic procedures for clinical X-rays in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. You will also assume responsibility for patient flow and all other patient care issues while ensuring both employee and patient safety.

Lead Radiology Technologist tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images
  • Assist in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure
  • Prepare and position patients and equipment in a caring and safe manner
  • Ensure all equipment and supplies utilized during procedures are maintained and in ready condition
  • Communicate proactively and effectively with patient and radiologist regarding any findings patient histories and test results as appropriate
  • Collaborate and confer with all caregiver colleagues and members of the healthcare team

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved educational institution
  • Associate Degree
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
  • Valid ARRT (R) required
  • Three (3) to five (5) years technical experience with extensive knowledge of equipment, accessories and procedures
  • Additional certifications and Lead experience preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
