We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Radiology Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine diagnostic procedures for clinical X-rays in a careful, compassionate, and respectful manner.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images
- Assist in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure
- Prepare and position patients and equipment in a caring and safe manner
- Ensure all equipment and supplies utilized during procedures are maintained and in ready condition
- Communicate proactively and effectively with patient and radiologist regarding any findings, patient histories, and test results as appropriate
- Collaborate and confer with all caregiver colleagues and members of the healthcare team
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved educational institution
- Associate Degree
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Valid ARRT (R) required
- Three (3) to five (5) years technical experience with extensive knowledge of equipment, accessories, and procedures
- Additional certifications and Lead experience preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
