Job Summary and Qualifications

Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist

At HCA West Florida, we are committed to creating a world-class experience for each patient. As part of our team, you will work alongside a dedicated group of professionals truly making a difference in the health and lives of people in West Florida. We are currently seeking a Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist. In this role, you will:

• Follow established standards and practices under the direction of a Perinatologist
• Have a thorough knowledge of congenital heart disease and how it is manifested in the fetus
• Have specialized skills in the performance of 2D, M-mode, pulsed and color Doppler sonography of the fetal heart (echocardiography)
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Doppler techniques in the maternal and fetal circulatory systems
• Generate clear, concise obstetrical sonogram images

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program
• Certification (RDMS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) required
• One year of professional experience required, preferably in an OB/MFM department/setting
