Location: Sturtevant

Pay Range: $18 - $20 per hour

Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Bilingual: Preferred but not required

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 3rd Shift Production Lead to join our team. In this role, you will oversee production activities during the 3rd shift, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, effective training, and smooth operations. If you are a proactive leader with a keen eye for safety and a commitment to operational excellence, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

On-the-Job Training (OJT) and Safety Training:

Ensure all training is completed on time and all required documentation is uploaded into the local site training skill matrix.
Backfill any openings due to scheduled/unscheduled absences when the Onsite Manager is not available.
Associate Management:

Check-in associates and direct them to the appropriate department/line/TLS when the Onsite Manager is unavailable.
Emergency Contact:

Serve as the emergency manpower contact during the Onsite Manager’s off-hours. Address urgent issues or incidents involving Manpower associates, including serious issues and injuries.
Safety and Training Delivery:

Deliver Safety and on-the-job training (OJT), including building orientations as needed.
Time and Attendance:

Track the time and location of manpower associates and ensure daily timesheets are signed off.

Policy Enforcement:

Ensure compliance with Manpower policies and procedures during the shift. Issue warnings as needed and communicate issues to the Onsite Manager.
Safety Practices:

Conduct daily check-ins to remind associates of housekeeping and safety importance.
Perform walk-arounds to ensure safety protocols are followed and appropriate PPE is worn. Issue safety infractions if necessary.
Meetings:

Attend Scheduling and Safety Committee Meetings as required.
Production Work:

Perform production work as assigned in an emergency back-up capacity until a position is filled.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a production lead role or similar position preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Knowledge of safety protocols and training procedures.
Proficiency in tracking time and managing attendance.
Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
