Position Overview:

This advanced consumer processing position will be focused on processing credit applications and reviewing for bank and regulatory compliance on various types of consumer loans. There will also be a considerable amount of customer service and support for an existing portfolio. Some analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various customer issues, and prioritize work. Position requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines. Individual must also be highly organized, able to multi-task effectively, and meet deadlines. This position is located in Libertyville and is 100% in-office.

What you will be doing:

  • Process consumer loan applications following regulatory requirements and Bank’s Policies, Procedures and Matrix, upholding the Wintrust standard for internal and external customer service.

  • Coordinate loan closings and fundings.

  • Handle customer transaction requests/balance inquiries.

  • Review and submit bills and invoices for payment; process loan payment requests; transfer funds between accounts.

  • Internal and external customer follow up regarding missing documentation.

  • Various other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in banking or related field

  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, email and database software.

  • General computer skills
