We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Transaction Manager - Market & Client Risk Management to join our Transaction Management Group (TMG). This role is located in Houston, TX or Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Manage complex financial transactions and mitigate risk across high-value client engagements. Lead the review and execution of complex or non-standard client services and legal agreements, ensuring alignment with BNY’s risk policies and documentation standards. Facilitate client onboarding and transaction setup, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet client objectives. Analyze and negotiate contracts and governing documents, working directly with issuers, legal counsel, and advisors to ensure structural integrity and compliance. Identify and mitigate potential risks by ensuring all transactions adhere to corporate policies and business procedures. Serve as a key liaison between clients, legal teams, and business units to resolve contractual or structural issues. Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate representation of services to prevent disputes and protect BNY’s interests. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). 5-7 years of relevant experience in transaction management, legal review, or financial services. Strong understanding of risk management principles, contract law, and client service operations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead discussions with senior stakeholders and legal advisors. Proven ability to manage large, complex transactions and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
