We are hiring

Our client, in Sumter, SC is seeking a Machinist to join their team.  The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, teamwork and communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

 

Job Title: Machinist

Location: SC, Sumter

Pay Range: $20/hour + Shift Differential ($1.50 for Night Shift)
Shift: 3rd Shift (8 PM - 8 AM, 4-3-3-4 schedule)

What’s the Job?

  • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, diagnosing problems, and executing necessary repairs.
  • Performing regular maintenance and inspections on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts used.

What’s Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment or similar setting, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
