Material Coordinator

Our client is seeking a Material Handler / Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have material handling/inventory management experience, purchasing experience and a production or warehouse background which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler / Coordinator
Location: New Berlin
Pay Range: $24 - $28/hr
What’s the Job?
- Orders raw materials.
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, records shortages. Coordinates with purchasing to rectify damages and shortages.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Operates forklift, pallet truck, and dolly to move materials and shipments.
- Compares identifying information and counts or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
What’s Needed?
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must pass company certification program to safely operate forklift, pallet truck and dolly to move material and shipments.
- Purchasing experience is a plus.
