Overview

VTG is currently seeking an Logistics Management Specialist to join our team in San Diego, CA at NAS North Island will monitor maintenance systems for various Aerospace Manufacturing and Maintenance.

What will you do?

  • The LMS will have experience with aircraft support equipment maintenance systems, hardware and software, configuration control, test and evaluation, systems integration, and systems supportability.
  • Monitor, track and report readiness trends and anomalies, in addition to making recommendations for improvements to the Readiness Cell business processes.
  • Experience with the COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2C Chapter 10.17 Support Equipment Planned Maintenance System and AS 9100/9110 Quality Management Systems for Aerospace Manufacturing and Maintenance.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) from a fully accredited four-year college or university


Other Qualifications
  • Must have a BS or BA degree. An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS or eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS.
  • 8 years of experience in Aviation Maintenance Administration or Aviation Ground Support Equipment Technician (AZ or AS) required.
  • Experience with NAMP for SE PMS and AS 9100/9110 Quality Management Systems for Aerospace Manufacturing and Maintenance.
  • Experience with MAXIMO Work Order Tracking via Business Process Engineering (BOE).
  • Experience with TD compliance on assigned Support Equipment using DECKPLATE system NAT02 reports per NAMP requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret data is required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

VTG's base pay rate is $29.53 per hour which is a general guideline for the California geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or market considerations.
