Clean harbors/Safety Kleen is looking for a hospital Insite Technicians to work at hospital customer locations, and to join their safety conscious team This team member is responsible for the successful execution of hospital Consolidation and assisting with hospital waste disposal, and various other responsibilities. The Insite Technician serves with creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers.  

Responsibilities
  • Will be transferring Sharps Containers and hazardous and non-hazardous material throughout facility
  • Supports Waste Management Sustainability Services onsite program, including manual labor associated with medical waste, non hazardous pharmaceutical waste, sharps and hazardous pharmaceutical waste collection, handling, packaging, transporting, and installing containers
  • Ensure waste types are properly segregated, regulatory shipment windows are met, proper container labeling is adhered to, good housekeeping is maintained, and accurate tracking logs are kept
  • Perform labor intensive activities such as collecting waste throughout the facility and walking throughout the hospital
  • Wears required personal protective equipment
  • Participates and cooperates in safety process, including following written procedures, attending required training and scheduled meetings
  • Immediately reports any unsafe conditions, incidents, injuries, or property damage to supervisor

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities/Competencies:
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Able to take and follow direction. 
  • Able to perform multiple tasks. 
  • Ability to interface with customers. 
  • Proficiency in Windows based applications
       Required Qualifications:          Ability to work with little or no supervision.     • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.    • Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.    • Strong Customer Service Skills.    • Proficient in Windows based applications.      • Working knowledge of Safety.
