This role promotes health and wellness through structured exercise programs while creating a positive and motivating environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead group exercise classes, individual exercise classes for residents at Independent Living Facilities.Provide modifications for different fitness levels and abilitiesMaintain a clean and organized workout space before and after classesBuild rapport with participants to encourage regular attendance Stay current with fitness trends and certificationsQUALIFICATIONS:Ability to motivate and inspire participants Strong communication and interpersonal skills, organizational skillsPrevious experience as a group or individual fitness class instructor preferred.CPR certification - will trainPrevious experience working with older adults preferred.Current certification in group exercise instruction or as a personal trainer through an accredited organization preferred.
