Job Overview
Position Schedule: Full-Time
Join a dedicated 24/7 security team committed to protecting Edward Jones Home Office and Branch Office locations. To deliver, in partnership, effective security services that provide a safe and secure environment for our clients, associates, visitors and guests; our information, and our assets; and enables the firm to provide financial services. Hours are evenings and nights, with weekends and holidays.
What you'll do...
- Responds to routine and emergency calls for service from Branch, Home-Based, and HQ associates
- Collects security-related information for dissemination to leadership and security team members.
- Monitors, acknowledges, and responds to fire and security alarms.
- Monitors video and responds to noted discrepancies.
- Operates the digital multi-campus radio system and facilitates communication to and between Security team members and other users. Manages calls for service, assigns work, and dispatches Global Security Associates and Contract Officers.
- Responsible for making appropriate emergency notifications via radio, phone and/or the emergency alert system and alerting emergency services (911).
- Attends SCC based training; completes job-specific education and Edward Jones training, actively participates in field or classroom training opportunities, and meets or exceeds all minimum training standards.
- Conducts monthly test and inspection of security systems
- Effectively operate the security access control and badge software systems
- Maintains current and accurate knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Maintains knowledge of the Security Control Center Failover process
- Accountable for submitting accurate documentation; uses correct forms, writes legibly, uses proper spelling and grammar, and submits timely, accurate, understandable, and error-free information.
- Assists with preparing dashboards and reports for trending and study of data to keep the organization informed, improve performance, and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Closely monitors news and open sources for natural disasters, civil unrest, and other incidents that could affect business or travel.
- Follow all Security Control Center procedures, policies and processes.
- Complete assigned additional responsibilities according to schedule.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:
Hiring Minimum: $40895
Hiring Maximum: $63295
Skills/Requirements
What you'll need...
- High School diploma or GED required. College degree in related field preferred.
- 3-years of relative experience (security, loss prevention, law enforcement or emergency medical services).
- Knowledge of security dispatch operations, physical security systems and the security field operations is required
- Must be able to type 30 WPM.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office.
- Good written and verbal communication
- Must have knowledge acquired through previous experience, certification or specialized training in Security Systems
