Job Summary and QualificationsAs the Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform Ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in one of the following areas: OB/GYN, Abdomen, Neurosonology, or Peripheral Vascular.
You will obtain information about internal organs, fluid accumulations, disease diagnosis, the study of malfunction of organs, and prenatal examination of fetuses and the placenta, amongst others.
You will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with knowledge of all pertinent technical and academic areas to produce consistently high-quality ultrasound examinations.
You will assist the Radiologist during biopsies and assume responsibilities for non-technical duties of Radiology when available, such as clerical, transportation, and reception.
What qualifications you will need:- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Ultrasonographer, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT)
- Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate, or Certificate
